Tattoo Aftercare Tips :
1. Do not re-bandage your tattoo. 2. Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo. Don't use wash cloth or anything abrasive on the tattoo. 3. Do not pick or scratch your tattoo. 4. Wash your tattoo twice a day with antibacterial soap and warm water every day until your tattoo is healed. 5. Avoid hot tubs, public pools, ocean and soaking during the healing process. 6. Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, tanning oils, lotions and sand for a few weeks. 7. Avoid tight fitting clothes which might irritate a new tattoo.
Tattoo Aftercare Directions:
After removing the bandage you will need to wash your new tattoo thoroughly to remove any ointments or petroleum based products from the area. Apply a generous amount of ointment such as bacitracin, vitamin a & d, or neosporen to the tattoo 3-5 times a day and gently wipe and dab off ALL excess ointment. The key here is VERY thin layers. Do this for about one week and then swith to an unscented dye-free lotion such as Lubiderm or Curel lotion, thin layers 3-5 times a day for three more weeks.
